How do I prepare for my first brazilian or body wax? (FAQs)
♡ Hair must be at least 2 weeks grown out, however 3-4 weeks is recommended for best results. It takes a few waxes for your hair to be on the same growth cycle, so you may be left with some prickly hairs that weren't ready if you only wait 2 weeks.
♡ Wear loose fitting clothes and comfortable (or no) underwear to your appointment.
♡ If you'd like to really minimize the discomfort of your first wax, start moisturizing daily and exfoliating 2-3x a week as soon as you read this!

♡ Getting waxed on your period or while pregnant is completely okay, however you may be more sensitive during this time (note: a clean tampon/cup must be worn). Most people feel the best time to get waxed is right after your period is over!

♡ Waxing cannot be performed over any open wounds (such as HSV or eczema) or sunburn.
♡ It is uncomfortable, but not unbearable (if it was so bad, we wouldn't have a job), and the first wax is always the worst. Get through that and the second one is a breeze. Book yours today!
