Beyond the Wax: The Vajacial Experience
Read about what the process is like, the benefits, and which option you should choose based on your skin concerns.
A "vajacial" is a treatment for the bikini area (the mons pubis and the bikini line) designed to fight ingrown hairs and discoloration using similar steps to a regular facial. Our full service vajacial starts with a cleanse, followed by an enzyme exfoliant to dissolve away all that dead skin. Next, a hot towel will be used to prepare for the best part, the extractions! After the heat from the towel softens the skin, we'll take care of any blackheads, whiteheads, and extract ingrown hairs. This is the most popular reason for booking a vajacial, since it's hard to see down there and painful to do yourself. Plus, once the ingrowns have been removed, it's much easier to keep them at bay with home care. A high frequency treatment will then be administered to kill bacteria, reduce inflammation, and increase circulation to promote faster healing. Lastly, a mask tailored to your skin concerns will then be applied, followed by a finishing serum or oil.
A mini vajacial treatment can be booked in conjunction with your wax, which is designed to calm even the most sensitive skin. It starts with a cleanse, followed by the wax as exfoliation. Then we'll do surface extractions, followed by high frequency and a custom jelly mask.
The full service Signature Vajacial is performed at least 72 hours after waxing. This may seem inconvenient, but by doing this, we're able to incorporate hot towels for comfort during extractions, as well as use more active ingredients to treat hyperpigmentation and breakouts, leading to a much more targeted, effective, and faster-acting treatment. In other words, the mini post-wax vajacial is designed to soothe and help prevent future breakouts, while the full service vajacial is designed to treat existing skin concerns. We also didn't want people who use other hair removal methods (or get waxed somewhere else) to feel left out! Everyone deserves to feel amazing from head to toe. Take your intimate care to the next level and book your vajacial today!

What is a brow lamination, and do I need one?
Brow lamination is a treatment that smooths and straightens brow hairs, giving them a fuller, fluffier, and more defined look. It helps keep unruly hairs in place and enhances your natural shape. It lasts for 4-6 weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and aftercare.
The most commonly asked question regarding brow lamination is always "Will my brows stick straight up?" Spoiler alert, the answer is NO! Lamination does not glue your brows in place, the hair is still pliable and can be styled any way you like!
Brow laminations are fantastic for people with curly brows or people whose brows lay "horizontally," meaning they kind of stack on top of each other and you find yourself brushing them up with brow gel so they don't look so thin (see the image for reference!). If you don't like that sleek and shiny look, don't worry, that only lasts until your aftercare serum dries!

Bikini Brite: Your Solution For Brighter & Smoother Skin
Correct darkness and discoloration with a peel designed specifically for use on the body.
Hyperpigmentation is a condition in which excess melanin is produced by the body, making patches of skin become darker than the surrounding area. This is especially common in darker skin and can be caused by a variety of things, such as hormonal changes, sun damage, or injury, as well as certain medical conditions. The most common places for hyperpigmentation on the body is the underarms, on the back of the neck, the knees and elbows, or in the bikini area. While these dark patches are not harmful, many people wish to correct the pigmentation for a more even skin tone. That's where Bikini Brite comes in!
Bikini Brite is a chemical peel designed for use in the intimate areas. It is NOT a bleach (it contains no hydroquinone), and it does not "whiten" the skin, meaning it does not affect any of the melanin that's supposed to be there, only the excess deposits.
While yes, using store-bought products can gradually lighten hyperpigmentation over time, a chemical peel administered by a professional offers an accelerated path to achieving your desired result. Chemical peels use carefully formulated acid solutions to safely remove damaged layers of skin and quite literally lift the hyperpigmentation out, revealing healthy, even-toned skin underneath. Results are typically seen in 1-3 treatments, but depending on the severity, more may be necessary. The results can then be maintained with home care and brightening vajacials.
If you've been looking for a solution to your dark spots, this is it! Book a consult on our website (listed under "Body Treatments") so we can recommend the best course of action for your needs. If you have any quick questions, feel free to text us at 732-701-7655.
